Delivering a Lifetime of Healthy, Gorgeous Smiles
Being an orthodontist is about helping a person develop their most gorgeous smile while ensuring they have a healthy, balanced bite that will last a lifetime. A person’s overall dental health can be improved by orthodontic treatment, and severe dental problems can be prevented by orthodontic care.
My dad is a general dentist. Growing up, I knew I wanted to do something in the health field to help people improve their lives, and I knew I needed to work with people on a one-to-one basis. I was fascinated watching my dad solve problems for people, along with the relationships he developed through his work, and knew the dental field was right for me. It’s the ideal combination of healthcare, personal connections, and improving wellbeing.
I love getting to know each patient as a person. I enjoy hearing about their day, whether we’re talking about work, school, travels, sports, or new experiences. I particularly love seeing a person get excited about their treatment; as they move through care, they become more confident and happy as they see the change in their smile. Each person is thrilled with their beautiful new smile, and I’m thrilled for them!

Beyond the Office
I grew up in Stone Mountain and have lived in Duluth, GA, since 2010. My husband, Brian Dempsey, and I met at the University of Georgia. He’s an optometrist. We have two beautiful daughters, Caroline and Victoria. When not at work I’m usually playing with the girls. I also enjoy exercising, time outdoors, traveling to Seaside, FL or any national park, and activities with St. Columba’s Episcopal Church.
